All Music Academy students are required to make a blog entry using the following questions. You may write a paragraph answer, but please include answers to both questions in your paragraph. This is due by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31.
1. Did this concert change your perspective about professional classical musicians?
2. Do you think the intense musical training to become a professional musician is worth the sacrifice of someone’s high school life style?

7th period January Blog assignment Due Jan. 25 @7a.m.

7th period- Tell about one person’s composition from Composition Night. Give a general impression, then specific things you noticed and liked about the piece. Use a good-sized paragraph with complete sentences.

Piano Comments- due Dec. 14 7:00 a.m.

Next blogging topic- playing the piano. This topic was chosen by my 5th period class. They are all progressing at a good rate and seem to enjoy learning to play the piano.
Tell me in 100 words or less your reaction to learning to play the piano: Is it hard or easy for you, do you like to play for your family or friends, does it do anything for you, are you frustrated or motivated?

Advanced Music classes writing assignment

All of my students are required to submit a journal-type entry about something musical. Length is to be about 100-200 words. If you did a special musical or artistic activity this summer, please write about that. If you attended a concert or theater performance lately, write about that. If you like a particular musician, write about them. If none of these ideas work for you, ask me to approve another topic. Spelling counts. All blogging is due by Monday, October 5 at 12:01 a.m. (This is one minute after midnight, early in the morning of Monday, Oct. 5. Do it early because late is not accepted.)
